Before you dive in, here’s what you might want to know about him: Siyuan is an applied microeconomist and environmental engineer by training, and, in descending order of competence, an amateur sharpshooter (25-yard with CZ Shadow 2), wannabe car racer, all-you-can-hit baseball pitcher, somewhat-responsible lemon-sour enjoyer, irresponsible watch collector, and pathological Warhammer 40K miniature horder (The Emperor protects!).

Currently, he is a Ph.D. job market candidate (2026 - 2027) in the Department of Agricultural and Applied Economics at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
